Homeschool Support for Orange County

South
Coast Christian Home Educators(SCCHE)
The original homeschool support group was pioneered in March of 1996 by homeschool families at Saddleback Community Church that desired that they connect with other homeschool families within their church community. In 2007, we changed our focus to include families around Orange County and became a self-supporting ministry known as South Coast Christian Home Educators. We have grown to include close to 150 families.
We have regular park days, field trips, Mom's Night
Out and other special events, a private web site,
monthly assemblies during the school year, monthly
community service at local assisted-living facility,
and a resource library. We are also available for
information to those who are considering homeschooling.
Any homeschool family is welcome to join the South
Coast Christian Home Educators. As a member you may
participate in our private internet discussion board
(at My Family.com) where we talk about homeschooling,
curriculum choices, and educational and social opportunities.
The discussion board also contains a calendar of all
our activities, including park days, assemblies, and
much more. To become a member of our group, read through
the Rules & Regulations, then click on the Membership
form on this site.
